Mrs Ritchie Chalmers joined the trust as a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon in 2013. She was appointed as the trust’s Chief Transformation Officer in 2025 ans is part of the Executive team and the Board.
As Chief Transformation Officer Ritchie leads the Trust’s Improvement and Delivery team and continuous improvement approach through the ‘Exceptional people, outstanding care’ programme.
Ritchie has previously worked with teams to improve cancer performance as the trust Lead Cancer Clinician and to establish the West Kent Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) as the trust Chief of Service for the Core Clinical Services Division.
She has experience of working at a system level across Kent & Medway as the Deputy Chief Medical Officer at the ICB and as the Medical Director of the Kent & Medway Cancer Alliance.
