Vivek Srivastava – Non-Executive Director

Vivek Srivastava joined as a Non-Executive Director in November 2025. He is a consultant in Acute Medicine at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He contributes to improving physical and mental health services, mental health education and preventing hospital re-admissions.

He is founding chair of Pan-London Acute Medicine Network (PLAN), a clinical community to improve acute care in the region.

He worked for the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcomes and Death (NCEPOD) from 2013-2023, where he contributed to national reports on the quality of care of sepsis, pulmonary embolism, peri-operative diabetes care, healthcare in prisons and mental and physical healthcare in acute and mental health hospitals.

Vivek is the Director of Quality for MBBS at King’s College London School of Medicine and is closely involved with the new medical school campus in Portsmouth. He has been a clinical NED at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust as a Non-Executive Director for the past five years and currently chairs the Quality and Performance Committee.
