Lisa Thompson – Associate Non-Executive Director

Lisa joined the Trust Board in September 2025, bringing with her over 30 years of experience in clinical and leadership roles across adult and children’s services, including leadership of allied health professionals. She is a registered speech and language therapist and has a Master’s in Healthcare Management. She continues to work clinically on a part time basis.

Before joining the Board, Lisa served as Director of Children and Young People’s Services at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, where she provided strategic leadership for service delivery across three London boroughs, supporting physical health, public health, and child and adolescent mental health services.

She has worked with service users and colleagues across the NHS, local authorities, and voluntary organisations leading initiatives resulting in improved health and social care outcomes.

She is a member of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology Action Group focusing on the language abilities needed by children and adolescents to participate in justice proceedings effectively.
