About

Mr Moloy Dey started his ophthalmic training in the West Midlands before embarking on his higher training in London.

He undertook fellowships in medical retina/uveitis and medical education at Moorfield’s Eye Hospital and at UCL Medical School where he was involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education in ophthalmology.

During this time he obtained a Diploma of Medical Education and received the UCL Medical Education Award and Moorfields Star Awards for his services to medical education.

Mr Dey has a special interest in inflammatory and infective conditions affecting the eye, notably tuberculosis.

He has undertaken specialist uveitic fellowships at Moorfields, Western Eye and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He is currently the lead for Uveitic services at Maidstone Hospital.

Mr Dey is actively involved in training junior ophthalmologists in cataract surgery and is a member of  the training faculty of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
