What we do
We provide a range of surgical services with Tunbridge Wells Hospital a level 2 trauma centre and the location of paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology departments.
Maidstone Hospital specialises in elective, complex, and cancer-related procedures, including urological surgery, regional gynaecological oncology, and breast surgery.
It is also home to the new Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre which opened in 2024 and has three state-of-the-art operating theatres dedicated to planned (non-emergency) orthopaedic surgery.
Both hospitals also have short-stay surgical units.
