Riverbank Children’s Unit is a paediatric (children’s) ward with 12 beds.
It is in the green zone on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.
Children and young people are admitted to Riverbank for day surgery or if they have been referred from the Emergency Department, by GPs or for further investigations.
If the patient needs an overnight stay they will be transferred to Hedgehog Ward.
