What we do
Our clinical team includes of consultant neurologists and nurse specialists.
Neurology is a broad speciality covering lots of different conditions. Information on specific conditions can be found on the NHS website.
Most patients are seen in the outpatient clinic by a consultant neurologist. All consultants (apart from Dr Chan) do general neurology clinics for patients with any neurological disease.
Day case intravenous infusions are done at Maidstone Hospital, and lumbar punctures on both sites.
Patients with urgent conditions may be admitted to an acute medical ward where neurologists offer a consultation service Monday to Friday.
A few patients requiring highly specialist investigations and treatment may be referred to the regional neuroscience centre at King’s College Hospital in London.
