Chief Nursing Officer Award for "lifeline" healthcare support worker

Congratulations to Healthcare Support Worker, Tina Fennelly, who has received a Chief Nursing Officer Award from NHS England.

These national awards recognise the vital contribution of healthcare support workers in England and their exceptional support of nursing and midwifery practice.

Tina is a healthcare support worker in the Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre at Maidstone Hospital and her nomination read:

"Tina ensures patients feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for.

"Her compassion extends to relatives as well. A family recently described her as a 'lifeline' during a difficult admission.

"Her presence enriches the team, and her dedication highlights the importance of a supportive and positive working environment where staff and patients can thrive."

Congratulations Tina! This award is a fantastic recognition of the compassion, kindness and professionalism you bring to your role every day.
