Finger and wrist flexion and extension

Open and close your hand 10-15 times. Then move your wrist up and down 10-15 times.

After a few days, start doing the exercise holding a soft ball/ball of socks. Squeeze the ball as hard as possible without pain.

Hold for 5 seconds and repeat 10 times.

Finger exercises

Practice this sequence of movements five to ten times every two to three hours throughout each day until you have full movement.

Finger exercises

Hold each position for five seconds before moving on to the next position.

Do the exercises with all the fingers on the affected hand.

Try to keep your thumb out of the way, especially if it is your index finger that is injured.
