Dr Supriya Joshi trained in chemical pathology and metabolic medicine at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and Lister Hospital, Stevenage.

Dr Joshi’s training in metabolic medicine included lipids, diabetes, obesity, parenteral nutrition, metabolic bone disease and inborn errors of metabolism.

Dr Joshi is responsible for providing a comprehensive clinical biochemistry service for all users of the laboratory. She also provides support for the diagnosis and management of biochemical clinical problems, advice on appropriate investigations on an individual patient basis and determines the repertoire provided by the Clinical Biochemistry Department.

Dr Joshi’s clinical role also includes provision of an outpatient service in metabolic medicine and familial hypercholesterolaemia at Tunbridge Wells Hospital and Maidstone Hospital.
