About
Dr Megan Thomas graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester in 2009 before completing graduate-entry medicine at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
She graduated in 2013 with distinction in Clinical Sciences.
Dr Thomas completed her anaesthetic training in Kent and South London, with subspecialty training in obstetric anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and anaesthesia for major surgery.
She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) in 2021 and has achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine from Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
In 2026, Dr Thomas was appointed as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
