Dr Andy Taylor trained at the Royal London Hospital and underwent anaesthetic training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He was appointed as a consultant anaesthetist at the Trust in 2005.
He delivers anaesthesia for both adults and children for a variety of surgical specialties including urological, orthopaedic, general, ear, nose and throat (ENT), ophthalmology, brachytherapy, trauma and emergency surgery.
Dr Taylor spends some of his time working in the pre-assessment clinic where he reviews patients before surgery to ensure they are as fit as can be before their operation.
