Amit Saha
Dr Amit Saha is a consultant rheumatologist and has had extensive training in all aspects of rheumatology and general internal medicine.
This has included training at the professorial unit at King’s College Hospital and in the Louise Coote lupus unit at St Thomas’ hospital.
During this time, he was awarded an MSc in Rheumatology (Distinction), an MA in Clinical Education and won a bursary for his research, which was based on measuring disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis.
Dr Saha has GMC specialist accreditation in rheumatology and general internal medicine. He has a keen interest in education and was a London Deanery-sponsored fellow in medical education.
At Maidstone Hospital, he is Training Programme Director (TPD) for Foundation Year 2 doctors.
Currently, he is the Honorary Secretary of the Maidstone Division of the BMA.
