About
Dr Charlotte Moss qualified as a doctor in 1997, after studying at University College London Medical School and undertaking an intercalated BSc.
She completed the MRCP(UK) exam and worked as a junior lecturer and specialist trainee in oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital before completing a PhD as Cancer Research UK Clinical Fellow at the Barts Cancer Institute in Charterhouse Square.
She successfully defended her thesis. 'Microarray Analysis of Tamoxifen Resistance in Breast Cancer' in 2008.
Dr Moss continued specialist training in medical oncology part time on the South London Rotation, working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals.
After becoming a consultant in 2014, she worked in Sussex before relocating to the Kent Oncology Centre in 2020.
Dr Moss provides NHS clinics at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells hospitals, supervising systemic treatments for people with breast cancer.
She is committed to developing cancer therapies through clinical trials and offering these opportunities to breast cancer patients in Kent.
Dr Moss is involved with clinical teaching and supervising medical oncology trainees. She is Clinical Lead for Acute Oncology at the Trust and is chair of the Cancer of Unknown Primary MDM.
