Dr Maskell was appointed as a consultant physician with an interest in stroke medicine in 2006.
He was Medical Director at Kent Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust 2012-2017, and Medical Director at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust 2017-2023.
He is currently Medical Director (Integrated Care) for the West Kent Health and Care Partnership, a role he has held since 2023.
