About
Dr Kevin Fai is the Trust’s clinical lead for pain services and has experience in management of a wide array of pain conditions – spinal pain accounts for approximately 60% of the workload of the Trust’s pain management unit.
His specific areas of interest include interventional cancer pain management, ultrasound guided regional techniques and management of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS – formerly called reflex sympathetic dystrophy).
The Trust’s service works closely with orthopaedics, palliative care and physiotherapy services.
Dr Fai is also working on improving access to psychological therapies for our patient population.
