About
Dr Johnathan Chan qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and completed a sub-internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
After completing junior rotations in several London hospitals, he underwent Specialist Registrar training at St Mary’s Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.
He also achieved distinction for an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology from UCL.
Dr Chan is currently a full-time consultant neurologist at Maidstone Hospital with academic sessions at King’s College Hospital in London.
His special interest is in cognitive neurology and he runs a specialist cognitive neurology clinic to assess and manage patients referred from Kent who have young-onset or atypical dementias.
