Dr Helen Burdett trained at Bristol University and did her anaesthetic rotation in the south west of England with a year at Great Ormond Street Hospital for advanced paediatric training.
She is the lead paediatric anaesthetist for the Trust and runs the high risk anaesthetic clinic for children with multiple co-morbidities attending MTW for surgery.
She was an advisor for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency on paediatric medicines and opioids expert committees for seven years and is now a Final FRCA examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
