Training Programme:

Site-based Training: Tailored training sessions are offered at both hospital sites.

Sessions can be organised:

• ~ in your workplace
• ~ in the library
• ~ in training venues within the hospitals

Library staff can create sessions to cater for your needs at any level, using Athens and other appropriate online resources.

Sessions can be groups or one-to-one. Group sessions can be delivered to fit in around departmental/ clinical meetings, Clinical Governance half-days.

Scheduled Sessions: Basic Literature Searching, Study Skills and Searching Online Resources sessions are available regularly. These sessions help you get the best out of online resources, by signing you up for an Athens account, creating a search strategy, and conducting a basic search using the core databases.
