Congratulations on being offered a position at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

You will receive a conditional offer letter via email that will detail the job offer and what pre-employment checks need to be complete prior to you commencing.

Pre-Employment checks: Before you commence at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust we must verify your references, complete an ID/Right to work check (If appropriate ID was not taken at interview), complete a Criminal Records Check (if your job involves contact with vulnerable adults or children.)

Employment health check: You will be asked to complete an occupational health questionnaire. This will then be screened by our occupational health team. If necessary, they may ask you to have an appointment to see the doctor or nurse who will decide if you are fit for the role you have been offered.

Start Date: Once we have verified your references with your recruiting manager we will agree a start date (If you are joining the trust for a clinical role your start date will be aligned to the Clinical Trust Inductions).

Contract: You will receive a copy of your employment contract and details of your induction by email in advance of your start date. Please return your signed contract to your line manager on your first day in the ward/department.
