Riverbank Children’s Unit is a paediatric ambulatory and day-case ward consisting of 12 beds at Maidstone Hospital. Children and young people will be admitted to Riverbank for day-case surgery or having been referred to paediatrics from the Emergency Department, GPs or for further investigations. If the patient requires an overnight stay then they will be transferred to Hedgehog Ward.
It is located in the green zone on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.
