The Postnatal Ward has 26 beds and cares for mothers and babies following birth.

It is located in the green zone on level 3, Women’s and Children’s at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

Visiting hours

One birth partner is permitted on the ward 24/7. This birth partner can be interchangeable between two allocated people (who must have pink wristbands).

Between 10 November and 4 January we will be trialling new visiting hours: 12pm – 7pm for two visitors at a time.

From 8am – 8pm, patients’ own children can visit the ward. In order to minimise spread of possible infections we cannot allow any other children onto the ward. Children or visitors who are unwell should not visit the ward.
