Professional Profile
Nick is a graduate of Edinburgh University Medical School and completed his surgical training in London and Charing Cross Hospitals. He gained international experience working in Australia for 18 months where he specialised in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Nick was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury in 2013.
He specialises solely in his chosen sub specialty area of knee surgery, where he regularly performs knee joint replacements, cruciate ligament reconstructions and arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures on the knee, including meniscal (shock absorber) repairs and surgery. He is published widely in knee surgery and his work has been presented at prestigious international conferences.
Nick is a member of the British Association of Surgery of the Knee, is treasurer of The South East Thames Knee Study Group, and teaches regularly on Advanced Trauma and Life Support courses to other doctors.
He regularly attends national and international knee symposia and conferences to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of knee surgery.
