Professional Profile

Dr Pritha Roy is a clinical oncologist, based primarily at Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

She specialises in the treatment of lung cancer, haematological malignancies with radiation therapy, and stereotactic radiotherapy. She also plays an active role in Acute Oncology Services at Maidstone Hospital and holds outpatient clinics in Maidstone and at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

Dr Roy completed her oncology training in Kolkata, India, in 2022 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2023.

Before joining MTW in 2025, she served as a Senior Fellow in Clinical Oncology and Advanced Radiotherapy at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff. Her previous roles also include working as a Senior Resident and Fellow in Head and Neck Oncology at the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai.

She has a strong interest in clinical research and innovation in advanced radiotherapy techniques. Dr Roy has presented her work at international oncology conferences and remains actively engaged in ongoing research and clinical development.
