Professional Profile
Dr Tsang was appointed as a Consultant Physician in 1996 and practises General Internal and Geriatric Medicine at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. He participates in the Acute on call rota receiving unselected acute admissions.
Dr Tsang’s main area of interest is in Parkinson’s disease in the elderly and he holds a regular clinic for this at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. I also have an interest in Osteoporosis and Orthogeriatrics looking after patients admitted with fractured neck of femur.
He has experience in both Acute and Community Geriatrics and trained in these aspects as a Senior Registrar in the Wessex region from 1992-1996.
Dr Tsang is Clinical lead and Site Lead in Acute medicine at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, and has previously been Clinical Director from 2007 to 2011. His management role includes looking after the operational side of Acute Medicine.
He also sits on various committees including the Private Patients Medical Advisory Committee and chairs the Tunbridge Wells as well as the Cross Site Consultant Physicians Meetings.
