Professional Profile

Dr Mark Sinden trained in the south east, initially as a general practitioner and subsequently as an anaesthetist. He is on the specialist register for both General Practice and Anaesthesia and has worked as a Consultant Anaesthetist at the Trust since December 1999, having previously been a consultant at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings.

Dr Sinden’s clinical interests include regional nerve blockade using ultrasound and obstetric anaesthesia. He is also interested in medical education, having previously served as College Tutor, Training Programme Director and Deputy Regional Advisor for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
