Advanced Radiotherapy Techniques
I am a clinical oncologist able to deliver both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and based at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
Dr Kannon Nathan undertook his training in oncology as part of the London Deanery Pan Thames rotation – with experience gained in Kent, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, North Middlesex Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, with junior oncological experience at Charing Cross Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospitals. He became a consultant in 2012 and has assisted in the implementation of IMRT in head and neck and primary brain tumours at the Kent Oncology Centre.
He is actively involved in teaching oncology registrars and is the co-organiser of the nationally recognised FRCR course at Canterbury. He is involved in developing radiotherapy techniques and services at the Kent Oncology Centre.
Dr Nathan tries to balance his busy work life with his family in Canterbury; as well as trying to catch up with his love for cricket and football. He is described by others as passionate and enthusiastic in his job from his patients, and ensures his consultations are patient-orientated with a clear management plan.
