Professional Profile
Dr James (Jamie) Goodman gained a MA in Physiological Sciences at Oxford University in 2004 before going on to study Graduate Entry Medicine at St George’s Hospital, London.
Jamie completed his postgraduate training in anaesthesia in London and the south east. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2010 and was appointed as a consultant at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2016.
During his training, Jamie spent a year at the Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia and completed advanced level training in Regional Anaesthesia. He also completed fellowships in Obstetric Anaesthesia and Difficult Airway Management at St Thomas’ and Guy’s hospitals respectively.
Jamie is joint clinical lead for Obstetric Anaesthesia.
