Tunbridge Wells Hospital has benefited from a generous charitable donation of £10,000 made by BNP Paribas Tunbridge Wells to support its Covid-19 response.

Staff at the hospital, part of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, have worked tirelessly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. The donation made to the Trust’s dedicated charity will help fund various staff welfare and wellbeing initiatives around physical and mental health.

Steve Orpin, Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Finance Officer, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, said: “We are very grateful to BNP Paribas for their generous donation, which will help to provide additional support for staff who have shown outstanding commitment and team work in these unprecedented times.

“Enhancing staff welfare and enabling them to continue to provide our patients with outstanding care is central to our Covid-19 response.”
