Another three Health and Wellbeing days will be run this year following the success of two events held in 2016. The initiatives are organised and run by a team from Kent Oncology Centre, with Macmillan and other volunteer organisations, to help support people with cancer transition from active treatment to ‘normal life’ as part of the Survivorship programme.

The upcoming events will all be held at Ditton Community Centre in Aylesford on:

18 July 2017
21 November 2017

They are for patients who have completed or are nearing completion of active cancer treatment, to help them feel supported in managing the transition from treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery) to ‘normal’ life. The event will include talks and sessions about diet, exercise, financial support, emotional wellbeing and health awareness.

Anyone wishing to book a place for any of the forthcoming Health and Wellbeing days should call Sue Wilkins on 01622 227051.
