If you’re planning a pregnancy, whether it’s your first or you already have children, you may find the following information useful.

Pregnancy can be an exciting but daunting time for women/pregnant people and their partners. There are many choices to make and questions to answer and through our webpages and contact with our staff we aim to help you and your family to have the best possible experience at this special time.

There is lots of information available for pregnant people online. It can be difficult to know what is and what is not good advice. For this reason we advise using websites that are endorsed by the NHS.uk or national charities. We have included information and leaflets from national resources which are updated regularly, many of which come in additional languages and easy read guides. There are plenty of multilingual resources here.

If you have URGENT concerns including reduced fetal movements, pain, abnormal vaginal loss or bleeding please contact Maternity Triage on 01892 633500, this is available 24/7.

Monitoring your baby’s movements is important in pregnancy. If you have concerns around a change in pattern or reduced fetal movements, please call Maternity Triage on 01892 633500. Click here for more information or visit the Kicks Count website.
