The Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) is a 35-bed unit at Maidstone Hospital (formerly Stroke Unit and Chaucer Ward).

It provides inpatient stroke care as part of our stroke services together with the 14 bed Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) and stroke assessment bay.

The Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) is in the red zone, on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.

The Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) is in the purple zone, on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.
