Hospital Radio

We have two hospital radio stations – one at Maidstone and one at Tunbridge Wells – which are run by volunteers and are free of charge to all patients staying at the Trust.

Maidstone Hospital Radio

Hospital Radio Maidstone broadcasts to patients, visitors and staff at Maidstone Hospital and also to those patients recovering and receving care at their home after a stay in hospital. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.

The team broadcast via two channels, which can be located on Channel 1 and 3 of your bedside dial and online via the internet – Channel 1: Energy and Channel 3: Choice.

On the hour, every hour, you can hear the latest news from the studios of our colleagues at Sky News Radio. We also provide hospital and local resource information from shop opening times to details of the nearest transport links.

If you would like to request a song to be played or make a dedication for a patient currently staying in Maidstone Hospital , please call us on 01622 224747.
