Professor Nisar has extensive experience in general and Laparoscopic Surgery. He has been involved in teaching and training Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, Laparoscopic Inguinal, Femoral, Umblical and Recurrent hernia repair, Laparoscopic Nissen’s Fundoplication, Laparoscopic Heller’s Cardiomytotomy, Laparoscopic Incisional hernia repair, Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis, Laparoscopic Oesophagectomy and Laparoscopic Gastrectomy in IMACS (International Minimal Access Centre for Surgery) Maidstone, MATTU (Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit) Guildford and many other centres in United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
He has visited many UK hospitals and supported their surgeons to set up and safely introduce new Laparoscopic Surgical Techniques in those centres. He is a frequently invited speaker and presenter on Antirefulx surgery, Minimal invasive techniques in modern practice, Hernia surgery and innovative techniques, Oesophageal and Gastric cancer surgery in the UK and abroad.
