Professional Profile

Sarah Flint trained in London and the South East and was appointed as a consultant in 1999. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology and is experienced in scanning complicated pregnancies and transvaginal scanning in gynaecology. She leads the fetal medicine service for the Trust working closely with the antenatal screening midwives.

She has many years of experience looking after women who have experienced complications in pregnancy including losing a baby. In gynaecology she has many years of experience and is particularly keen to work with women to ensure a holistic non interventional approach is adopted whenever clinically sensible.

She is the regional Head of School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and oversees the provision of training of all specialty trainees in the region. She sits on a number of RCOG committees including Specialty Education Advisory Committee and Global placement Committee.
