Professional Profile
Dr Forner graduated from St George’s Medical School, University of London, in 2013. She completed her Clinical Oncology training in South London and Kent. With a specialist interest in both research and education, she went on to complete post-graduate qualification in Medical Education and complete the Associate Principal Investigator scheme in the SCOPE-2 radiotherapy trial. She is currently the Kent Oncology Centre Radiotherapy Research Lead.
She has published in several peer reviewed journals and has also presented at various international Oncology meetings.
She is a member of multiple oncology network groups nationally and internationally, including the British Neuro-Oncology and UK and Ireland Oesophagogastric Cancer groups, EANO, ESTRO and ESMO.

Education and Training
She is currently the RCR Regional Speciality Advisor for Clinical Oncology.
She has an avid interest in education and training, including providing and developing teaching for Oncology trainees, junior medical doctors and medical students. She has previously lectured at the national MSc Oncology Course, FRCR Canterbury course, radiographer clinical skills course and also teaching locally, including medical students and junior medical doctors. As part of her interest in education, she is on both the RCR Undergraduate Committee and the BNOS Education Committee. She is also regularly involved in training and development, having had various positions within Clinical Oncology training and recruitment.
In addition to the above, outside of work, she is a keen movie enthusiast and dog-lover!
