Professional Profile
Dr Kathryn Lees is a Clinical Oncology Consultant specialising in the treatment of Urological cancers.
She qualified from Nottingham University Medical School in 1998 where she stayed to complete her basic medical training. She undertook her specialist oncology training on the London (South Thames) training scheme, rotating through hospitals in London and the South East. She completed her final year with the Academic Urology Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton.
She joined the Kent Oncology Centre as a Specialist Registrar in 2005 as part of her training rotation, returning in 2012 as a Consultant with an interest in Urological cancer.
She treats patients with Urological cancer from the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells area and her interests include the development of treatment techniques such as Image Guided and Adaptive Radiotherapy to improve the treatment of bladder and prostate cancer.
