Professional Profile
Julia Hall qualified as a doctor in 1995. She trained in General Medicine in Oxford and Nottingham, where she passed her MRCP in 1998. She moved to London to work at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she discovered she wanted to pursue a career in oncology.
Following nine months in oncology and palliative care, she commenced Specialist Registrar training in Clinical Oncology in London, mainly at the Royal Marsden, St Bartholomew’s Hospital and University College Hospitals.
In 2003, she passed the FRCR (with Rohan Williams Medal) and was appointed as a consultant at the Kent Oncology Centre in 2009. Initially she worked in East Kent, but more recently she is based at Maidstone and Darent Valley Hospitals, with her main clinical practice at Darent Valley Hospital. She treats breast and lung cancers.
