Professional Profile

Dr Brown is a consultant clinical oncologist managing breast and lung malignancies with both radiotherapy and drug treatments.  She graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School (University of London) in 1998 and completed specialist clinical oncology training in London and the south east of England including at The Royal Marsden Hospitals, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Cancer Centre and here in Kent.

Alongside her clinical work she is passionate about the importance of education within medicine, particularly for the next generation of doctors.

She is co-organiser of the renowned FRCR Part 2 Canterbury Course and is heavily involved with teaching and training. She is an educational supervisor and college tutor for clinical oncology trainees and lectures at the medical school (KMMS). She is passionate about making available the best oncological treatments for patients locally and is therefore actively involved in increasing the trial portfolio in East Kent.
