Dr Bruce Young was appointed as a consultant anaesthetist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2022. He qualified from King’s College London School of Medicine in 2011 whilst also undertaking an intercalated BSc in anatomy and human sciences.

Dr Young undertook his anaesthetic training at hospitals in London and the South East with advanced training in regional anaesthesia at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and paediatric anaesthesia at the Evelina Children’s’ Hospital.

He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2018 and has since gone on to complete a postgraduate certification in perioperative medicine and high-risk clinical anaesthesia at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
