Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) is hosting a live-streamed non-religious Service of Remembrance for bereaved relatives of patients who have died during this year in the Trust’s hospitals.

The service will take place today (Thursday 17 September) at 1pm from Maidstone Hospital Chapel and will be led by Trust chaplains with support from other hospital staff.

It would be helpful for anyone joining the live-stream to have the following available to use during the service:

  • A flower bulb – one suggestion would be an Hyacinth
  • A candle and something to light it with (or battery operated candle)
  • Something of significance relating to your loved one, such as a photo, or a piece of jewellery, or favourite item.

The service will last for about 30 minutes via Facebook Live, due to the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

You can join the service through Facebook Live on the official MTW Facebook account at: https://www.facebook.com/mymtwhealthcare

Simply follow the page and join the livestream as it begins at 1pm today.

Please note, this event is no longer taking place via YouTube Live, but will be available to watch on our YouTube channel after the event has finished.
