Do you, or your friends or family, take medication to control your blood pressure? If so, we need your help.

The Research and Development department at MTW has teamed up with the University of Dundee and the British Heart Foundation to run a new study called TIME, which is looking at monitoring and comparing evening dosing of antihypertensive (blood pressure) therapy with conventional morning dosing, and the impact this has on reducing the risk of heart attacks and stroke.

Participation in the trial is open to anyone who takes blood pressure medication.

To participate, simply log onto www.timestudy.co.uk and answer three simple questions about yourself. If you are accepted onto the trial you will be told immediately.

Please remember to select that you heard about the study from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW) in the drop down box.

You will then be randomly selected to either take your medication in the morning or in the evening and you’ll be followed up via e-mail by experts from the University of Dundee.
