Hand Hygiene

The Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is committed to controlling spread of infection and has implemented a ‘Clean your Hands’ campaign to get everyone on board with hand hygiene. 

We have installed hand cleaning points at our hospital entrances and before the entrances to all of our wards. These are clearly marked.

Our staff take hand hygiene seriously. They don’t mind being asked if they’ve cleaned their hands so please ask.

We have also covered the front of Maidstone Hospital with the Clean your Hands message as part of our campaign to raise the profile of this very simple and effective means of infection control.
