Following delays to enter and exit Maidstone Hospital on Wednesday 4 May, due to traffic gridlock on Hermitage Lane, the Trust has spoken with our partners about the issue.
The reason for the delays was down to water works on one of the building sites which we had not been informed of in advance.
The works have now been stopped and we are working with our partners to ensure we are informed at the earliest opportunity if there is likely to be a problem in the future, or if extra works will be taking place.
